3. Service Terms and Conditions

3.1 Estimates and Pricing

  • All estimates are valid for 30 days from the date provided
  • Final pricing may vary based on actual work required
  • Additional charges may apply for parts and components
  • Payment is due upon completion of services unless otherwise agreed

3.2 Diagnostic Fees

  • Free initial diagnosis for repair services
  • Diagnostic fees may apply for consultation-only services
  • Diagnostic fees are non-refundable but may be applied to repair costs

3.3 Turnaround Time

  • Standard repairs: 1-3 business days
  • Complex repairs may require additional time
  • Parts availability may affect completion time
  • Emergency or expedited services available at additional cost

4. Customer Responsibilities

As a customer, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate information about device issues and history
  • Back up important data before bringing devices for repair
  • Remove or disable security features (passwords, encryption) when possible
  • Collect repaired devices within 30 days of completion notification
  • Pay all charges in full upon completion of services

5. Data and Privacy

5.1 Data Protection

  • We take reasonable measures to protect customer data during repairs
  • Customers are responsible for backing up data before service
  • We are not liable for data loss during repair processes
  • Customer data may be accessed only as necessary for repair completion

5.2 Data Retention

  • Customer data is not intentionally retained after service completion
  • Replaced storage devices are securely wiped or returned to customer
  • Service records are maintained for warranty and business purposes

6. Warranties and Guarantees

6.1 Service Warranty

  • 90-day warranty on all repair work performed
  • Warranty covers the specific issue addressed during repair
  • New issues or damage from misuse are not covered
  • Warranty is void if device is repaired elsewhere or tampered with

6.2 Parts Warranty

  • New parts carry manufacturer warranty where applicable
  • Used or refurbished parts carry 30-day warranty
  • Defective parts will be replaced at no additional cost

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fun Champion shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

  • Loss of data, programs, or information
  • Loss of business profits or opportunities
  • Cost of substitute equipment or services
  • Downtime costs or business interruption

Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service that gave rise to the claim.

8. Unclaimed Property

  • Devices not collected within 30 days will incur storage fees
  • After 90 days, unclaimed devices may be considered abandoned
  • Abandoned property may be disposed of to recover storage costs
  • Customer notification will be attempted before disposal

9. Intellectual Property

We respect intellectual property rights and expect customers to do the same. We will not:

  • Install pirated or unlicensed software
  • Bypass software licensing or activation systems
  • Perform services that violate copyright or licensing terms
  • Remove or disable software licensing components

10. Cancellation and Refunds

10.1 Service Cancellation

  • Services may be cancelled before work begins without charge
  • Cancellation after work has started may incur charges for time and materials
  • We reserve the right to refuse service for any reason

10.2 Refund Policy

  • No-fix, no-fee guarantee applies to hardware repair services
  • Consultation and diagnostic fees are non-refundable
  • Parts costs are non-refundable unless defective
  • Refunds processed within 5-7 business days

11. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms or our services will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
